Paint and chemicals stay off the trailer too, along with any other hazardous waste. Hot tubs are out as well. Most piles are gone within a few days, and he takes cash, card or Venmo. Once something comes all the way down, Jeremy hauls what's left. A shed knocked flat, or a wall opened up inside with studs and drywall in a heap. Lumber, siding, cabinets, fixtures and old carpet all go on the trailer.

Scrap metal skips the landfill. An old water heater in the garage, or the bed frame nobody wants. Chain-link fencing rolled up behind the shed, a rusted grill, exercise gear and a pile of pipe from the plumbing job. Jeremy loads it onto the trailer and it goes to the recycler instead of the dump. Fridges and freezers ride along too, +$25 each on top of the load.

After a big wind comes through the valley, the yard turns into a debris job. Limbs down across the lawn and fence panels flat on the ground. A shed roof in pieces and whatever blew in from the neighbor's. Jeremy hauls what the wind already knocked down. Limbs cut to arm length load faster. He's open 24/7, and most jobs get done within a few days.

Wood piles go on the trailer too. Broken pallets stacked behind a shop, old deck boards pulled up and leaned on the fence. Framing cutoffs and the lumber pile that's been in the side yard since spring. Jeremy stacks it on the trailer and hauls it off. Paint cans or chemicals mixed into the pile have to come out first, since he won't take those.
